Our Mission Statement

The Beaufort County Education Association serves as a local spokesperson for education by advancing the course of education for all individuals, promoting professional excellence among educators, gaining recognition of the basic importance of the learning process, uniting educators for effective citizenship, promoting and protecting human and civil rights, and obtaining for its members the benefits of an independent, united, education profession. In partnership with The South Carolina Education Association, we strive to be the leading advocate for quality public education in South Carolina and we have been in existence for over 135 years.
